Apparently, someone made it possible to use Patchstick from Windows. Please take a look. This might be very useful for people using a real OS too 
Oh, they also have a Wiki.

FYI regarding atvpatch.com
just so people know this site currently does NOT offer an easy solution like it says. I paid my $20 to find that all the links to the instructions don’t work and without them I cant figure out how to use the software.
Hopefully they will fix this soon, but if I knew the state of the site I would not have paid the $20, so I wanted to share my experience with others.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon in which case I will post here again.
